it is laudable that medical council of india has now recognised foreign qualifications like m.r.c p.; f.r.c.s. etc, which, hitherto, had the dubious distinction of not being valued in india. A postgraduate doctor with degrees like m.r.c.p.england is now eligible to seek an appointment as a teaching faculty in any indian medical college. similarly i urge our hon prime minister to have deliberations with england and american medical bodies and see that indian medical postgraduate degrees like m.d. and m.s. are recognised in those counties. As of now, the indian medical postgraduates who seek jobs abroad have to start training all afresh in those count
