For those who say that Canadian Doc are protesting for a Salary cut then why Indian Docs are so much behind money. I would like to put light on few facts about Indian Docs.

1. The Doctor-Population ratio of Canada is approx 230 Doctors for every 10000 people.

In India it’s 6.2 for every 10000 people. Which increases the work of doctor manifolds.

2. Still, Canadian Docs are earning approx. 4Lakhs CND (2Crore INR) Annually. Indian Docs (elite and top most few) are earning 20-25 Lakhs INR Annually.

Summarising this we learn, Indian Docs are working 3 times more for 10 times less salary when compared with Canada

3. Yet,

They (Indian Docs) don’t ask for money. All they want is a bit of respect and protection (considering the assaults taking place on daily basis – reported & unreported)

4. Indian Docs work Day In & Day Out without following working hours pattern UNLIKE foreign countries where they are Off-duty once their working hours clocks out, irrespective of the number of patient still left to be attended.

5. Personal Life, Family Life and Social life is very well preserved in Canada and it’s very well compromised here.

But Still all we see is assassination of Doctors on Ethical grounds and assaulting them which has become a fashion for people and a News Fad for media.
