*Indian History as a tale of Three Hugs*
1) Dhritarashtra trying to hug Bheema after war of Mahabharata with intention to crush him. Lord Krishna sensing the motive replaced Bheema with an iron statue and Dhritarashtra crushed it.
Lord Krishna reminded shocked but alive Bheema to touch feet of the old patriarch who suddenly got filled with remorse of trying to kill his nephew in anger and revenge.
2) Afzal Khan trying to hug *Chatrapati Shivaji* to stab him not knowing that *Master strategist and Greatest Indian Martial Hero* knew the intentions well in advance and had armed himself with waghnakh (Tiger nails) and gored the beast before he could even pull out his dagger.
3) A scripted drama which was supposed to show a much ridiculed underdog nincompoop hugging the *most Popular Leader of India* to show the compassion one has towards a formidable adversary and score brownie points with paid and eager media and durbaris.
*It was all going according to the script till the nut couldn’t control his eyes and winked.*
Not all hugs are given with good intentions in mind. *But history has been kind to India that all three times, the man who wanted to hug had his agenda blown on face.*
