“Your blood sugar levels are too high. “You have to start drugs and control your diet,” we told them.
“Nope, Doctor! I have excellent control of my diet – and I go to the gym every day. I can control my sugar in ten days,” said the young, highly educated, CEO of a big company. Three months later, when I saw him in the ICU, I was shocked! He had lost his ability to speak and his right part of his body was completely robbed. He willingly made his health free of diabetes. He was going to be physically disabled all his life.. Couldn’t speak and totally depend on his family!

A forty housewife, otherwise healthy, showed up toes getting ants and changing color of toes. The sugar in their blood was so high. They were consuming the herbal novel they saw on YouTube and recommended by some actors and politicians. When we showed them their lab reports and told them it was very important to control sugar, they laughed and criticized the commercialization in allopathic/modern hospitals. “We have simple native remedies doctor, sugar will never harm me anything,” he answered enthusiastically.

They came back after a month, with them crooks. Their leg had to be cut off from an emergency lap. They had a gangreen and it was the only way to save lives.

From young to old- from heart attack to fatal infections, blindness to paralysis, impotency to kidney clogs, gangreens, diabetes is currently havoc in our society. Millions of people die of diabetes every year, and now this monster has become a major cause of death worldwide – and our beloved India has become the capital of diabetes death! © Dr. Rajas Deshpande

From autorickshaw to railway, national doordarshan and social media there is a bunch of fake diabetes cure advertisements. There is no need to tell what false claims of cheap diabetes treatments may have on the minds of millions of illiterate and corruptly educated people. Just like a thuck uses the name of God, these fake products are claimed to be “proven and scientific, approved and tested.”

Due to ignorance and carefully run defamation campaign against scientific/allopathy drugs, people turn to the cheapest alternatives for sugar control. A society that is overcame by poverty jumps in this pit with blindness. They believe these remedies are working, but after some time they unfortunately have to lose their health, organs or lives.

Our governments need to educate people by strictly banning fake health products advertisements. The courts should please take note of the health burden and deaths caused by claims of non-scientific measures, and rather than looking at the mistakes of pure profitable allopathy, someday look at the rampage caused by these false “country” claims. Medical administrators and health authorities should implement scientific protocols and guidelines of care for diabetes and deliver them to doorstep similar to photos of government advertisement leaders. Because diabetes have reached nearly every family today.. This must be arranged, otherwise it will be like allowing false profiteers to play with people’s lives.
