Biography of Dr. Arun Chaturvedi

Dr. Arun Chaturvedi is a distinguished physician specializing in Internal Medicine, based in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Born on December 24, 1960, he has dedicated his career to public health service and patient care.

He completed his MBBS and MD in Medicine from Sarojini Naidu Medical College (S.N. Medical College), Agra, a prestigious institution affiliated with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University. During his time as a student, he resided in the KGB Wing of G.B. Pant Hostel, where he shared a room with Anand Prakash—a detail fondly recalled by his contemporaries, including Dr. P.K. Gupta, a noted psychiatrist.

After completing his postgraduate studies, Dr. Chaturvedi joined the Uttar Pradesh Provincial Medical Service (UP PMS). In this capacity, he served extensively in government health initiatives, making significant contributions to the Pulse Polio Immunization Program. His efforts played a vital role in the statewide campaigns aimed at eradicating polio, particularly during the intensive phases when Uttar Pradesh was a key focus area for national and global eradication efforts.

Currently practicing as a General Physician and Internist in Agra, Dr. Chaturvedi continues to provide compassionate and expert medical care to his patients. Known for his polite demeanor and thorough approach, he remains a respected figure in the medical community of the region.
