Areas where the incidence of Covid-19 positive cases are highest

THE RULES ARE THE STRICTEST IN THE RED ZONE DISTRICTS, AND PROGRESSIVELY GET EASIER IN THE ORANGE AND GREEN ZONES

PERMITTED

Movement

Private cars: At most two passengers + 1 driver

Two-wheelers: Only the driver

For essential goods only; not allowed in malls, markets and market complexes

All standalone (single) shops, neighborhood (colony) shops and shops in residential complexes permitted to remain open in urban areas

Construction activities

Limited to in-situ construction (where workers are available on site and no workers are required to be brought
in from outside) and construction of renewable energy projects

PERMITTED

All industrial and construction activities in rural areas, including MNREGA works, food-processing units and brick-kilns

All shops, except in
shopping malls are permitted

All agriculture activities

Animal husbandry activities (including inland and marine sheries)

All plantation activities (including their processing and marketing)

All health services (including transport of medical personnel and patients through air ambulances)

What about the nancial sector such as banks and NBFCs?

A large part of the nancial sector remains open, which includes banks, non-banking nance companies (NBFCs), insurance and capital market activities, and credit co-operative societies.

RESTRICTED

Home delivery of non-essential goods

Barber shops, spas, salons

Cycle rickshaws, auto rickshaws, taxis, cab aggregators, intra-district and inter-district plying of buses will remain prohibited in Red Zone districts for two more weeks

Activities

All activities permitted in the Red Zone

Taxis, cab aggregators (such as Uber and Ola)

With one driver and one passenger only

Inter-district movement allowed for permitted activities only

Private four-wheelers

Driver + Maximum two passengers

Two-wheelers Pillion riding allowed

GREEN ZONE AREAS

PERMITTED

All activities are permitted except the limited number of

activities (which are prohibited throughout the country)

Buses can operate with upto

50% seating capacity

Bus depots can operate with upto 50% capacity

No separate pass

needed for movement which is essential for maintaining the supply chain of goods and services across the country

Wine shops

Only in Green Zone

Restrictions:

Shops selling liquor, paan, gutka, tobacco etc to ensure minimum six feet distance from each other

Not more than 5 persons are present at one time at the shop
