Why we *oppose NMC*
1. It'll legalise quackery by enabling Ayush to practice Modern medicine after a bridge course. This is only to sell those seats too. That'll be a disaster to public health.
2. It'll restrict qualified MBBS Drs from practising and decrease their clinical acumen as it impose licentiate exam.
3. It'll increase corruption as there are many flaws in granting permission for medical colleges.
4. It'll make education unaffordable as private managements get to decide fees for sixty to hundred percent seats.
5. It compromise democracy as NMC will be primarily a nominated body. It's against federal structure as states will lose representation.
